A review of Winnie the Pooh KIDS

by Lake Siglin, age 11

Hey there! My name is Lake, and I’m here to share my thoughts on Winnie the Pooh KIDS at the Waukesha Civic Theatre. Let’s dive in!

The set, designed by Evan Crain, was simply incredible. There was a hill in the background, and there was even something that would open up. It was so cool!

Next, the costumes, designed by Claire Kinder, were amazing. My favorites were Pooh’s Tummy and Pooh’s. In general all the costumes were great though, not only Pooh’s. They all were really colorful and shiny and looked just like the ones in the book and movies.

The acting was phenomenal and all the actors were very energetic, which made it fun to watch. They did so well for the short amount of rehearsal time. One highlight was when Pooh is trying to find honey, and each time he talks about it, bees come up and sing, “Honey, honey, honey, oooooooh!”

Overall it was such a playful show and everything was fantastic. See y’all in my next review—bye!
